We enjoyed our stay at The Star Residencies. Great communication by the owners/property manager.
Great location. The room was great - beds & pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom was great. Kitchen was very nice. The facilities on the 20th floor were great - we made use of them every day. The views from the room (42nd floor) were amazing. The communication from the property manager were excellent.
There were only two bowls available in the kitchen. For a room that sleeps four, this was inadequate. We couldn't watch Netflix simultaneously on the two TVs - an error would appear when you'd start to watch on the second TV. Having just the one key to the apartment was inconvenient. The simple exercise of going to the pool/gym on the 20th floor meant that the other members of the family couldn't head out & do another activity. Every other apartment that we've stayed at over the years on the Gold Coast provided us with two keys. The intercom system didn't work. we followed the instructions provided, however we couldn't access our floor after the person in the room allowed us access. No storage in the bedroom that had the two single beds. At the very least, a bedside table would have been handy.
